I've been to Wink several times in the past few years and have always had a flawless dining experience. I've been there on dates and with large parties and the wait staff have always provided impeccable service. The food portions are small, but this is a fine dining experience. It's not about volume but about the quality of the food and the care and skill that goes into making it. I love cooking and can completely appreciate what it takes to produce a beautiful yet simple looking dish. The portions aren't huge, but they're perfect. You leave feeling full but not overstuffed. Also, if you're there on a special occasion for someone, you can call the restaurant ahead of time and they'll print out a special commemorative menu for your guest with their name and date on the menu. Very nice touch! :)
Despite the small portions, it is a great special occasion restaurant. I recommend the wine bar if you don't have reservations.
