I'm a Virginia College student in Alabama and I have a good job. I think that it's the area you live in and where you apply to get a job. Virginia College isn't a bad school it's the people that work there. In Alabama there are plenty of people that hire Virginia College students.
This college has put me through hell and back!! I completely agree with the first review. I was in the first graduating class for the ultrasound program in which I completed at the top of my class and have yet to receive any help that was promised or financial understanding from this school even seven years later. I still have no job in the medical field of my degree and a 17000$ debt in student loans that i can't even begin to think about starting to pay back. I even qualified for full pell grants through the whole two years so my debt is smaller than most. I genuinely believed that this college would get me somewhere but it has done nothing but leave me in debt with a family of six who can't even qualify to buy vehicles much less a house. Now still seeking help have been told that i can audit classes to go back to virginia college but will have to pay another 5000$ to do this and thats only for one quarter. none of my credits are transferable to anywhere else so it is a completewaste

This school is a joke! The admissions process is almost like buying a car. This is my future and hard earned money people!!! The sonography program is NOT accredited and they keep telling everyone that they are trying to get it accredited. Yeah? For how many years now?? The staff changes constantly. The career services department is a waste of time. The minute a potential employer hears that you went to this school they run the other way. It didn't matter that I had an incredible GPA and perfect attendance. No one even wants to attend their own graduation, that they earned. The only thing you will receive from this school is a huge student loan that you can't even pay for because no one wants to hire a Virginia College graduate. Take my advice, go to ACC!
