St. Michael's Catholic Academy, located in Austin, Texas, is a college-preparatory school that is supported by the Diocese of Austin. The school provides a variety of educational, enrichment and cocurricular programs to more than 400 students in grades nine through 12. Founded in 1984, it is spread on area of more than 16,000-square-foot, and offers an over 11,000-square-feet gymnasium. St. Michael's Catholic Academy offers more than 80 courses, including English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. The school also provides theology, foreign languages, health education, computer science, communication applications and fine arts. St. Michael s Catholic Academy is approved by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department.

Just another corrupt private school

The school is in trouble financially and spiritually. Administration is pushed around by the athletic director. Teachers are overworked in over crowded classrooms. Students are out of control, harassing and bullying the younger students.

Constant drug problems.

Extremely selfish parents. Money drives discipline or the lack of it depending on how much money you have. Sports rules everything including academics. The cost keeps going up and the educational value keeps going down.
