Used Spotlez on the recommendation of a co-worker of my wife. Called and left a message and was contacted by Angel Martinez. Informed them I needed a deep clean make ready service for a 1200 sq ft condo. Was quoted a price of $150-195 dollars and told it would take his three person crew about 3 hours. Scheduled cleaning service to be performed.On a full disclosure, the condo we own is not where we live and we had to come into Austin to get it cleaned. So the service was made several days in advance. I got a text asking to confirm cleaning appointment the day before and did so.On the day of the cleaning, Angel showed up half an hour late, with no call saying he was running late or what have you. In addition, he had one assistant show up to help clean. Mind you the condo wasn't horrendously filthy it was just dusty and dirty from sitting empty for so long. Considering that this is a professional cleaning company, I was under the impression that they knew what a deep clean make ready clean is. Angel while courteous and professional in speaking to me seemed lost and wanted to know what I wanted him to focus on. I informed him again I needed a deep clean for the condo. He said ok, and then told me if I wanted them to clean the windows it would be extra. I hadn't been informed of this in our initial conversation so was somewhat surprised by this, however I no longer had time to find another company due to the timing of this information. Inside were two beds upstairs and a small dresser with 19"TV, a table and chairs in the dining area, a daybed with trundle bed and a 19" TV on a stand so minimal furniture and nothing that needed to be moved.As we had driven in earlier that morning and had to pick up a few things we spent about 2 1/2 hours away getting what we needed for the weekend. Upon our return we assumed that things would be close to being wrapped up. This wasn't the case. The windows had been mostly clean and all the screens taken down. But they had barely cleaned the two upstairs rooms, which again were mostly empty, And were just starting downstairs. Having gotten up so early to pack and drive myself and my three young children in to get everything ready I was somewhat upset that so much was undone still. We put the stuff we could in the garage while they continued cleaning except for the foodstuffs, which I left in bags to be moved to the side as they cleaned so if could away when they were done.In the meantime we took the children upstairs to take out them down for a nap while the cleaning was finished. After about another hour Angel said he was done and was off to another job while his assistant finished up. The price went from the max of $195 to $320 dollars, which was paid by check and caused that day (Friday 2/13/2015). I asked him for an itemized receipt because of the price increase, and he asked me to text him my email address and he would email me one. As of 3:45am Monday 2/16/2015, I have yet to receive anything.As a final insult to the problems I had with this service, the screens while placed in the garage were left filthy and dirty, not cleaned whatsoever, none of the mini blinds had been wiped down and there was still dust on the interior light fixtures after the assitant left, approximately 0130. Needless to say I find this service to be extremely subpar and a ripoff. Recently paid to have a deep clean service done on an empty 4300sq ft home and was charged $200 for the service, and gave the ladies a $50 tip for the job they had done, btw windows were cleaned from the inside as well.So if you are looking for a good cleaning service that will live up to your expectations, look elsewhere and make sure they have a receipt when it comes time to pay the bill.
