  Dr. Steven Hutto was born and raised in a small town called Grove Hill, just north of Mobile, Alabama. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Alabama with degrees in microbiology and accounting. He went on to study medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), and later returned to Tuscaloosa to train in family medicine. He just joined Red River Family Practice in 2016! Dr. Hutto's favorite aspects of medicine are HIV prevention, mental health, as well as educating patients on the importance of diet and exercise in the context of weight management.

  Some insurance plans require a referral from your PCP (Primary Care Provider) to see a specialist, this requires a little planning ahead. If you and your doctor have already discussed seeing a specialist, please call our office at least two business days before your specialist appointment so that we can get your referral completed. If you have questions, please call our office because our Referral Coordinator is happy to help you understand the process.

  Dr. J. Eric Lambeth, born in Dallas, Texas, attended Texas A&M University and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston in 1989. Dr. Lambeth completed an Internal Medicine residency at Brackenridge Hospital in 1992. He practiced Internal Medicine in private practice in Los Angeles, California, until joining Red River Family Practice in 1995. At Red River he's either working a full schedule or quietly charting to jazz music in his office.

  We now have an on-site laboratory operated by PathGroup Laboratories! This allows you to have your blood drawn before leaving our office; if you know you'll need to have fasting bloodworm done then please be fasting for at least 8 hours before your appointment. If your annual physical is scheduled for 3:30 and you don't want to skip lunch then we can always send the orders to PathGroup, Clinical Pathology Laboratory, or Quest Laboratory so that you can do those tests at your convenience. If your insurance requires you to use a specific laboratory or radiology imaging provider, please let our staff know so that we can make those arrangements.

  Dr. Michael Killian was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and grew up in Houston, Texas. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at University of Texas in Austin and graduated from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he also interned in General Surgery until 1989. Dr. Killian completed his residency in Family Practice at Brackenridge Hospital in 1992. He has been practicing Family Medicine in the Austin Area since 1992 and joined Red River Family Practice in 1998.
