This is the worst flooring experience we ever had. Floor King put down wood laminate floors throughout 2500 sqft house and carpet in the bedrooms. Within 2 weeks of laminate being laid, 30% or more of the laminate pieces were coming up at the edges. Floor King sent someone out 3 times to try and repair. More visits when those repairs didnt work and it was decided all hard 7floors need to be pulled up and completely redone.

At the same time, the trim molding was done improperly throughout the house. That needed to be entire redone as well. After Floor King entirely ripped up floors and redid, more tiles kept peeling up. 3 more visits to repair, and they finally appear to be staying down.

All these repairs and installations delayed us putting our house on the market for a month and everytime they came to repair, they made a huge mess with the mastic used to glue down floors and dust everywhere on windows and trim. At no point did they clean up their mess or offer cleaners to clean up the repeated messes they made. They scratched walls, door handles, and the stainless steel front of our refrigerator. Much distress was caused during this process.

On to the carpet. We didnt want super expensive carpet because these floors were done in anticipation of a move, but keep in mind we have a 500k+ house. Floor King installed the cheapest pad I have ever felt. I have an area rug from Marshall's that feels better to walk on than these floors. We were never told what padding would be used, but had we been shown, we would have paid for an upgrade. No choice was ever given, so now we are stuck basically walking on concrete until the house sells. I can literally feel the floor beneath the carpet through the pad.

All in all, spend your money where they have professionals, not amateurs doing the installation. There is no part of this exoerience that I am happy with. Save your sanity and go with anyone BUT Floor King.
