I thought they were a good company but after four years of uninterrupted coverage they let me know my homeowners insurance was dropping me due to having a staffrodshire terrier/lab mix. When I asked what my options were they informed me they had "shopped" for me and found only four policies that would cover me with the dog and the cheapest one was $500.00 more annually than the policy I previously had. On top of that, they informed me that though there was a large increase in my premium, the new policy would emphatically waive any liability for animal related issues. So, basically they were telling me that not only would I be paying more for my coverage, I would be losing coverage. Does this sound like having your cake and eating it, too? After doing my own research for policies I found a very reputable company who was more than happy to cover my home at no additional raise in my premium. I am certain that Danback found me a policy that made them more money. That is just BAD BUSINESS
