At first, I was a bit hesitant because it was not the lowest bid. But what impressed me most is the attention to detail with the bid and later, during the hardwood project.
Not only was the hardwood installed professionally and with the greatest attention to preparation procedures. In fact, they cared enough to cover non-work zones and my fixtures with plastic. I was especially glad to get progress reports and was asked for my opinion on a few minor items. It was a pleasure working with the team and will look forward to working again on my next flooring project.

Stephanie spent a lot of time with my wife and I, explaining what our options would be on our new shower tile, what would be most appealing, what was popular, and what to avoid. She was able to steer us in the right direction without deviating from our vision. We were under time restraints and Julian was more than accommodating. He worked around our schedule and was very critical of his own work. The end product, our shower looks amazing! We will return for our flooring when we start that project. Home improvement projects are always a huge venture and Castle Flooring put our nerves at rest. If you want a quality product installed by someone with years of experience, Castle Flooring is who you are looking for.

We live out of state with a rental duplex in Austin. Julian has been a pleasure to work with on several projects. The remote service is easy, projects start and wrap up quickly, very high quality, friendly and accommodating service, and our tenants absolutely love their work.

Go ANYWHERE except to Julian at Castle Flooring. At first, he seemed very suave and sophisticated. Don't get roped in by that facade! He advertises 'free estimate'. When I called for a free estimate, the free estimate cost me $75. There were no contingencies in the ad. When he was collecting $75, he assured me that the $75 would be credited if I gave him my business. I let him do 15 pieces of tile on my fireplace and that set me back $800. When I paid him for it, I asked about my $75. I didn't get it then and haven't gotten it since. He fired Travis, the man who had actually done the work (Julian never gets his hands dirty!) Julian, the owner, asked me to lie and not tell Travis's replacement I was pleased with Travis's work. (I never met the replacement!) I called it a day right there because I'm not going to lie. No more Castle Flooring for this lady. Perhaps I'll change my feedback when I get my $75 back which will probably be NEVER. I'd tell my best friend to run, don't walk, to any other flooring place in Austin--but do NOT get scammed by Julian and his wife at Castle Floors!!! She handles the money and will grab all she can, and she apparently dictates to Julian what he may and may not do. Avoid this one!!!!

I highly recommend Castle Flooring. I contacted them when moving to Austin from Nevada. I wanted my flooring done before we moved into the house. He and I worked via phone and email to select the perfect tile and wood flooring. When I arrived at our new home, the flooring was done to perfection, and the house was clean and ready for furniture to be delivered. Castle Flooring are not only excellent with design ideas, they are a very trustworthy company. How many companies can you work with via long distance and receive higher than expectations results?
