When I went to Hastings' Shoe store, I was fed up with buying faux leather Walmart shoes that would last a year, IF I was lucky. The feeling I got when I walked in reminded me of my younger days when service was more important than SELF-service. I was given options and prices and found a quality shoe that lasts at least 3 or 4 times longer than what I was accustomed to. I sometimes forget what value really means. It's not always the best price, but the best product that will serve you the best.
