Austell Natural Gas System was established in 1954. The company is a natural gas distribution utility that serves the residents of Austell, Ga., and its surrounding communities. Austell Gas System is a component of the City of Austell and is governed and administered by the Austell Natural Gas System Board. The company serves residential, commercial and industrial customers in the Georgia cities of Austell, Douglasville and Powder Springs, as well as portions of Cobb and Douglas counties in Georgia. Austell Natural Gas System provides natural gas service to more than 53,000 customers throughout its service area.
