Located in Aurora, Ill., Waubonsee Community College is a public, community college that provides a wide range of educational and training services. Its programs and services include transfer programs, developmental education, occupational programs, work force development and community education. The college offers many different degree and certificate programs, including two-year transfer programs, and career education degree and certificates. The degrees are offered in a wide range of subjects, including accounting, computer information systems, economics, real estate, anthropology, human services, technology, math and physical sciences. Additionally, the college offers adult education programs that include adult basic education, English as second language, general education development and adult literacy programs. Waubonsee Community College offers financial support to students in the form of grants, scholarships, loans and work-study programs. Waubonsee Community College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and is recognized by federal and state agencies administering financial aid.
