Craig Chike Akoh, MD, is a dual fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and foot and ankle surgery. He earned his medical degree from Augusta University Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia and completed his residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa. He received fellowship training in sports medicine at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, Madison and in foot and ankle orthopaedic surgery at Duke University, Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Akoh performs surgical procedures including arthroscopy of the knee and ankle; cartilage restorative surgery for the knee and ankle; tendon/ligament reconstruction of the knee, ankle, hamstring and forefoot; lower extremity fracture care; forefoot surgery; reconstruction foot/ankle procedures; and ankle arthroplasty/fusion.
