It was an awesome experience. Did a great cover-up. Was professional, quick and has gained repeat business.
Is negative possible? Called to ask about a nose piercing. Rude rude rude. And he hung up on me. Called back to ask why he hung up, said he didn't and hung up AGAIN!
These guys are GREAT! They are krazie they are wild they are FUN I have never felt so comfortable hanging out with strangers. I just turned 18 and have heard nothin but awesome things about this place. These negative comments from years ago I would say DO NOT apply to the crew working there now. I will continue to come here and recommend everyone that I know because I trust these guys in doing what they do best!!!
Don't bother coming here, they are super unprofessional and rude, especially the black Manager girl who sits in the front and Joshua ready, please if you are considering getting a tattoo please consider someone else and save your self the headache. I couldn't even get them to touch up my tattoo even though they said it came with it for a lifetime. I have tried and tried to get a hold of them to get it touched up but no response. Good luck if you decide to come here.
Terrible service, rude artist
this tattoo shop is terrible, the guys that work here are rude, i got my tattoo done by the owner Dwayne and got an INFECTION...ofcourse i went to the dr got on an antibiotic...went to the tattoo shop to tell them what happen ( i was not happy ) they tried to tell me that the infection happened because of the way i cleaned the tattoo or the type of fabric my clothing is. I HAVE 10 tattoos and i treated this tattoo the same i have with all my others and NEVER ever had this happen before in my life. i have scares from the infection. its funny they tried to turn it on me and blame me, when they couldnt own up to the fact that it was something that they did...went to another tattoo shop they took one look at the tattoo and said "HOLLY ****", the person that tattooed you went so deep the ink went into your blood stream and that is why i got an infection. the owner thinks he is the too cool because he's work is in magazine. HIVE ME A BRAKE....so disappointed. so disappointed.. im going to celebrity tattoo now and love them. there nice, polite, and there are serious about there work and they do not make unappropriate comments to females.
Dwayne is a great artist, But he and his secretary are mouthy, self centered and all around a@%holes! If dwayne does not like your idea he will not do the tatt. He cannot create anything off an idea. It pretty much has to be drawn out for him.
I have been going to "The Tattoo Shop" for about 4 years now and know they are without a doubt the best tattoo shop in Colorado... Duane has done all of my work and is the shop owner who runs a tight ship... Clean...Clean...Clean... and did I mention clean??? I have also seen Andrew's work and it's good quality stuff... Just remember these other shops might be trendy and talk the talk, but if you're considering putting artwork on your body for life, you want it done right and not by an inferior shop. I have been going to The Tattoo shop for my past 3 tattoos. Andrew was my artist and he is awesome! His work, as well as Dwayne's work is the best I have seen anywhere. Only a fool would go anywhere else. If you want the best tattoo, then hit this shop up. Why chance it when it's something that you will have forever? AAA+++
I went in to the shop one night and it was bumpin' and busy, and front guy Seamus (with a BRA tattoo is a riot) entertained us until things slowed down when Dwayne had some time. Dwayne took the time to ask me exactly what I wanted. I brought him some pictures of what I was looking to get, and he told me he would take the "reference material" (as he called it), and he would draw me a custom (yes, that means just for me custom), and have something rockin for me. He said he would need just s few minutes, and asked me and my friends to go get an ice cream and he would be ready to go. We got back, and I got the exact INK that I have been dreaming of! Dwayne Dixon is the BOMB!!! Who are these other parasite shops out there trying to ride on his coat tails? FOOLS, Dwayne is THE #1 TATTOO ARTIST in COLORADO. He's worth the drive I had to make from Colorado Springs. He's the man. I wouldn't ever get a tattoo my anyone else ever!
I don't know why there are any other shops in colorado...The Tattoo Shop is the BEST place in Colorado to get a tattoo or piercing. Dwayne, yes, he is still there, is AMAZING! He not only gave me the perfect tattoo, he also gave my husband the sleeve he has been wanting for the last 5 years! He is so funny and cool, and he is the most talented artist I have ever seen, I have subscriptions to tattoo magazines and he is so much better than most of the people in there! I am so glad we went to the Tattoo Shop.
Let's start here. Dwayne is amazing, super entertaining, and really fast! He is soooooo talented!!!! He did the most amazing work on me, and I am a walking advertisement for his artistry.
I know, I know. There ARE alot of shops around these days...but have you seen the horrible stuff that comes out of them? Just because you got something for a "deal" doesn't mean it's good. IT DOESN'T WASH OFF PEOPLE!!!! Dwayne is worth EVERY penny...and considering he does a totally reasonable hourly rate---(so the jerk at another shop will charge you less an hour...it will take that loser 3x as long as Dwayne which means you are paying MORE)--his 25 years of experience is what has gotten him the super awesome NATIONAL awards. Did you see him in the last Tattoo issue? Yep, that was Dwayne. Our rockstar artist here in Aurora.Really, when you are getting something so permanent, why would you even consider any other shop???
Don't be stupid...go to the Tattoo Shop. See Dwayne.
