We have been staying here since last 1 month and 15 days ( Moved it since 04/28/2013). We were pretty happy with the location, service from the leasing staff, location and the apartment but things started going down within a month. It looks very chic and nice from outside but once you started living here you will definitely feel the pinch.

1. Plumbing: Toilet (Toilet/tank is leaking) (4/30/2013) - Toilet was leaking onto floor and after flushing toilet, no water was filling up toilet tank. We called the 24 hour Service Request and they did come and fix it. Actually the person was very nice and tried to contact us numerous times since he had a wrong apartment #.

The management called us to check how the apartment was (so we dont move out) and I did tell them about the dishwasher and she placed a request.

2. Dishwasher (Dishwasher is making noise.) (5/10/2013) - The dishwasher was running loud. I have used old models but this sound was scary. I opened a service request to see if something was wrong.

3. Oven / range (Burner doesn't turn on) ( 6/5/2013) - The back right burner was faulty and didn't turn on.

5. Freezer (Ice making machine) (6/5/2013) - Since the summer started to kick in we started the ice machine. The ice was completely unusable, it has a pungent chemical smell which would make your beverage/water smell funny to the extend that it felt hazardous to consume. We threw away our drink. After servicing too we had to place a next service order today to rectify.

6. Blinds (Fell off from the window) (06/05/2013) - It was a morning when my husband was ironing his clothes and wanted to shut the blinds. T

7. Dryer (Needs 4 - 60 mins cycles, with oil marks on clothes) ( 06/16/2013 ) - The dryer is again a disaster and needs 4 cycles (60 mins) to complete. It is loud as well and gives me a bad headache after it running for 4 hours.

8. We unfortunately lost the key-card - we agreed on the time on contract that we will need two key-card since we workout different times. They approved it. The time we went for replacement since I lost mine. The new card didn't work went next day and she said that the machine wasn't working (tried 3-4times). When we went the next day to get it fixed. She was very rude when we told her about all these issue we were facing at our current apartment. She started telling us that she did a favor/exception for us by giving the card. We asked her to give in written in case they cannot fix the card issue at that point she went inside reprogrammed and told us that its working perfectly. She made us feel like idiots and also blamed us that we are lying about the whole issue. The leasing staff is very rude and made us feel like we are proposing these unreal issues and treated us very badly. She also told me you can leave this apartment complex if you don't like it, They have this offer where in if you done like the apartment you can move out. I told her was trying to avoid it since it costs us lot of money, time and energy to do so since we have lot of furniture (A truck full).

In short, if you rent an apartment here with basic appliances(not upgraded) you will have lot of issues since they are very old, loud, not functioning right, probably hazardous. Also, the staff treats you badly when you tell them their issues. I would say that the servicing is pretty fast but they can not do much help since the appliances are at the end of life. I would never recommend anyone to stay at Savoy. Its the worst apartment complex in terms of maintaining the appliances inside the house and the leasing staff once you are stuck with the lease.
