Grofax is a household name in the state of Colorado as a premier horticultural retail store started and operated by business owners that have experience in retail and customer service. The stores have knowledge based employees that have a wide range of growing pasts and are not biased towards one nutrient company or growing style. The mission of this company is to maintain a service and a standard for each individual customer. This company has been started with the values and philosophy of a small business beginning with minimum financial resources and with a mind frame of keeping repeat customers to stay in this competitive market. The visions of this company stick with our ""helping a neighbor out"" motto. From the start of our first corner store in Denver, Colorado, there had been thoughts of more stores to come. Within the first 9 months of opening the Colfax store, Grofax2 was started and operating. Within another year Grofax3 was started with a broader view of the state, realizing there are people in our mountains that also grow. With that being said there are many more stores to come. The industry we are in provides a priceless service that our customers need on a daily basis. Therefore, as a company, employees of Grofax must provide correct information and educated answers with experience in what the outcome is. The products and merchandise we provide have been approved by the Department of Agriculture and have passed EPA guidelines. All fertilizing products must have NPK values and measured amount to ensure warranty and guarantee of goods. The value of an employee's knowledge is important to each customer and will be tested thru the interview and process of each employee to ensure customers get educated answers when asked during a transaction. All employees must have had garden experience but not all are ""Operators."" The reason we are in this industry is to provide good education, fertilizer, and equipment.
