Our first visit, the office had no record of our appointment, but instead of turning us away, they accepted us for the initial consultation. My second visit, I was over an hour early. The receptionist was able to fit my child in right away, and we did not have to wait. This meant a lot to me. I will definitely recommend this orthodontist.

Dr. Glad is one of only 2 Orthodontists in the State that accept MaineCare. They have strict policies for missing appointments, which is really in the best interest of the person recieving treatment. The only policy I do not agree with is that they do not encourage/ really allow parents back into the orthodontia room where services are performed, and on more than one occasion, my child, has come out crying, from being scared or nervous of the procedures they had performed, I recommend if you have even a remotely timid child to push to be back there the first few times. Otherwise my childs teeth look so much better then they did on first exam and she is only half way through her orthodntia treatement. It has been a year and a half of treatment and I have yet to have met Dr. Glad.
8 AM. This was going to covered by Maine Care because he has an overbite. We forgot about the appointment. The office doesn't call you and remind you of appointments. I take full responsibility for missing the appointment, but because it was THAT appointment (for the casting), my Grandson was no longer eligible to go to him for braces. I even offered to pay cash for initial casting, xray, and installation of the braces. The answer was no. The only other Orthodondists in the state that accept Maine Care patients are over 100 miles away. I feel Dr. Glad's office policy is way out of line.
