Founded in 1961, Augusta Technical College is a public post secondary institution. Based in Augusta, Calif., the institute operates under the supervision of the state board of technical and adult education. It has received accreditation from the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges. Augusta Technical College has the ability to award Associate of Applied Science degrees, diplomas and technical certificates of credit. The institute fulfills the needs of the business industry and serves residents in east central Georgia.
