MCGHealth is a health care network that offers primary, specialty and subspecialty care services for the residents in the Southeast. The system practices in the areas of immunology, gynecology, gastroenterology, dermatology, endocrinology, neurology, gynecology, oncology, ophthalmology, psychiatry, pulmonology and radiology. It provides pain management, X-ray, sports medicine, and diabetes and eye care services. MCGHealth is a nonprofit corporation that manages the clinical operations of the MCGHealth Medical Center, which is a 470-plus-bed facility. MCGHealth also operates the MCGHealth Sports Medicine Center. It is also an academic medical center that provides a range of clinical services and maintains infrastructure to foster education and research.
