My father went into Good Shepherd after a long battle surviving several strokes. I was unsure what to expect in this beautifully furnished facility that overlooks a large lake. It was well beyond my expectations. The nurses and CNA's were exceptional and made it possible for my father to pass away in total comfort and with love surrounding him. My mother and I moved in to the facility for over a week and we were well taken care of as well. The social worker and on-staff pastor were very helpful and the compassion showed by each individual was exceptional, dedicated and loving. The lady that ran the kitchen was a bit strict (I called her the soup nazi as she wanted us to give back all the plates and trays fairly quickly, in my opinion), but all in all, it was a place I would recommend to any person that is close to crossing over. Thank you Good Shepherd and all your staff. You will forever be remembered and appreciated in my book!
