Mike Poorman Contracting, Inc. is a building and remodeling company in the Finger Lakes Region of Central New York. The company was established in 1991 to deliver high-quality craftsmanship and dependable service. We perform a wide variety of projects from small remodels to complete homebuilding. We use only high-performing materials and deliver professional workmanship on a consistent basis. It is Mike Poorman's mission to bring his years of experience and personal knowledge and attention to every project. The company works closely with experienced sub-contractors who respect the expectations and vision of the company. We enjoy the unique challenges involved in every building project and look forward to working to creating a wonderful renovation in your home. Mike's personal approach to business has won him many repeat customers. He and his professional crew are ready to tackle any project from installing standard replacement windows, to redesigning new kitchens and bathrooms. Their artistic attention to detail, friendly service, and quality craftsmanship have earned them an outstanding reputation in the Central New York Area, consistently being named one of "Auburn's Best" in The Citizen's annual Best of the Region contest. Mike is a past president of the Central Lakes Home Builders and is always learning about cutting-edge technology. In fact, Mike's company was the first in Central New York to build foundations out of insulated foam blocks, now a standard building material.
