Thos. Moser was founded more than thirty years ago to restore the lost art of fine woodworking. Formerly a Bates college professor, Tom Moser left teaching in 1972 to start making one-of-a-kind furniture in an old Grange Hall in New Gloucester, Maine. The company makes fine furniture for the home, libraries and office. Thos. Moser sells product through its mail catalog and also operates six showrooms in San Francisco, New York, Washington, D.C., Boston, Chicago and Freeport, Maine.
