High Street Congregational Church, United Church of Christ is located in the heart of Auburn, Maine. An historic church ( founded in 1826 ) High Street distinguishes itself through strong preaching, progressive thinking, diversity of membership, lay participation, and traditional Congregational practices with traditional music from a wide range of composers. Sunday worship services are at 10: 00am year round. Average attendance is 100. Sunday school and service time nursery/childcare are available Sept. June. High Street is also active in cooperative efforts with other local denominations to provide a thriving weekly food pantry, as well as youth programs.
