The Auburn Interfaith Food Closet is a nonprofit organization that serves more than 600 children and over 900 adults every month. The organization offers nutritionally balanced packaged food items for low-income workers, senior citizens, and unemployed, homeless and physically disabled individuals. The Auburn Interfaith Food Closet s member churches include First Congregational, New Life Christian, Harvest Christian and Pioneer United Methodist, which provide approximately 600 volunteer hours every month. Additionally, the organization features emergency nutrition programs. It operates Sponsor a Family, which is a fundraising program. The Auburn Interfaith Food Closet is located in Auburn, Calif.
