General Info

The North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores features four species of sharks commonly found in our waters – sand tigers, bonnetheads, nurse sharks and sandbar sharks. Nimbus, the rare white loggerhead at the Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, is living up to its name. Defined as a radiant light or shining cloud, Nimbus won out over hundreds of other name suggestions because it seemed fitting for the tiny sea turtle’s rare pale coloring. Admission: Adults: ages 13-61, $10.95, Seniors: ages 62+, $9.95, Military: $9.95, Children: ages 3-12, $8.95, Children Ages 2 & under are free, Memberships and Group discounts are available
