The Workers' Compensation Program is a state program that operates under the government of the city of Atlanta. The program includes health insurance coverage, medical care and financial assistance services. It also offers analytical and educational services to employees who have suffered on-the-job injuries. The Workers' Compensation Program is administered by the Risk Management Services, which is a unit of the Georgia Department of Administrative Services (DOAS). The Georgia Department of Administrative Services offers fleet management, equipment maintenance and legislative issue handling services. In addition, the department provides the Auto Liability Program, which includes liability coverage and safety education services.
