I was thrilled when I found The Cat Doctor, an ONLY CATS vet. We have been taking our cats to The Cat Doctor, Atlanta, GA for over 10 years. The staff is wonderful and very caring, the atmosphere is warm, inviting and low key (think NO Barking Dogs here!)

When it was time for our Monty cat to move to the heavy side layer, Dr. Drew and Colleen were able to put me at ease considering how distressed I was to say goodbye to my old friend.

Its difficult to put a price tag on quality, The Cat Doctor is worth the cost, experience and care you get from this seasoned, professional team of Cat experts.

The best for your cat

Drs. Weigner and Stumf are both wonderful; Dr. Weigner is one of the very few board certified feline physicians around. Very calming atmosphere and wonderful people. I have 10 cats and have been going to them since I moved to Atlanta. You should know that they are very professional and will do anything to help your cat--the level of service is better than that from many human physicians. They are not going to run extensive tests on a healthy cat brought in for an annual checkup and shots. Recommendation: start when you cat is healthy and bring him in for his annual. If he ever gets sick, you will be glad you did. Example: one friend of mine told me that her cat had a lump on him and that another vet was saying that the only thing to do was biopsy. She went to The Cat Doctor; they discovered that it was scar tissue from previous shots and that it was nothing to worry about. (I can't help adding one further detail--for all their injections, they use syringes desired for human use--much finer and much less painful for the cat.)

Bottom line--if you care and want the best possible care for you cat, go to The Cat Doctor. They are 10 on a scale of 5.
