They ask you to come in for an interview, tell you great things, offer you a $1,500 series of classes that includes a free photoshoot, but after that you're in and can go to all the auditions for free. Well, the classes don't teach anything, most of what they offered isn't even done, and the auditions are free, but if you want to sign with anyone you have to pay an additional $3,500, and if you want any pictures from the photoshoot you have to pay a lot for them. Not only this, but anyone in the industry is automatically turned off by Barbizon and often doesnt consider people with them. I was recommended to leave my Barbizon training off my resume. And even the people who pay the additional $3,500 and sign say that they don't get hardly any work, and none that pays. Barbizon is a waste of time and money.
