We were quoted $250.00 for work that needed to be done on our fifth trailer after paying almost $200.00 for a diagnostic and some minor patch work. We went out of our way to go back to their shop to have the work done because we thought that was a good price and they seemed nice. After they completed the work they tried to charge us $750.00 instead of the $250.00 we were quoted. Their hourly shop rate is supposed to be $100.00 an hour. They ended up working on our trailer for 3 hours. They charged us $600.00 for their hourly rate. That's $200.00 an hour. $100.00 an hour more than their standard hourly rate. I believe they saw that we are a hot shot trucking company and because we had a load on our trailer that we needed to get delivered they decided they could charge whatever they wanted and we would have no choice but to pay. They had our phone number. When they decided the work was going to cost $500.00 more than they quoted us over the phone they Should have called us FIRST before they did the work and made sure we would be okay with the price change. We would have taken it somewhere else to have the work done for a more reasonable price. Even it took longer than they thought they should have stuck to their normal hourly shop rate and not charged us $100.00 an hour more. They said they charged us more because they had 2 people work on it. It is a HOURLY shop rate NOT a per person rate. That was BS. When we spoke to them about this change in price and told them that we felt it was not right, that we were not notified of the change before they did the work, they reduced the price. However, it was still way over what the charge should have been. They ended up charging us a total of $821.50 just to fix the wiring for our running lights on our fifth wheel trailer. We would never have agreed to pay that much and I believe that's why they didn't okay it with us before they did the work.

Bought a bike rack and cargo carrier. Very pleased with the work, products, and the service after the sale. Highly recommended for aftermarket hitch work.

VERY HAPPY! This is a seriously competent, seriously great place. I had a hitch/bike rack problem that I had taken to several places to correct. No one could handle it - UNTIL I finally found the hitch house. They had my problem fixed correctly in 15 minutes. So happy to have finally found them. This is a FIRST Class operation. They are GREAT.
