Founded in 1964, Georgia Perimeter College is approved by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The college offers programs in various subjects, including accounting, art, biology, chemistry, English, computer science and mathematics. Additionally, it has various other departments, such as business administration, philosophy, sociology and psychology. The foreign language department at the college offers classes in various languages that include French, German and Spanish. The athletics department offers a variety of sports activities, such as baseball, basketball, softball, soccer and tennis. The college provides special services and programs to students with various problems, such as substance abuse, stress, depression, eating disorders and nutrition. Georgia Perimeter College is located in Dunwoody, Ga.
