So fun! I love coming to the botanical gardens.
The grounds are so beautiful, and they regularly have interesting special events to attend.
If you live in or are visiting Atlanta this place is a must visit!
Gorgeous grounds in the heart of midtown, Atlanta! The Botanical Garden is always beautiful during its regular season, but there are also numerous events throughout the year that bring new artists/exhibitions to its space. Dale Chihuly's work is particularly notable, especially throughout the spring, summer and fall of 2016.
The new exhibit features 19 impressive glass installations throughout the park, some of which light up at night, which means two trips are required: A daytime one and a nighttime one.
An event at the Botanical Garden followed by dinner at the garden's own Linton's restaurant or any of the nearby midtown eateries makes for a perfect date night! More details here: http://bit.ly/1T9w6Ve
The botanical garden is a must visit during the holiday season. The holiday lights display is gorgeous and makes for a great date night or family night out. Parking can be a bit of a nuisance but that's parking in Atlanta in general. There's a dancing light display, a DJ and bar stations (for adults of course) set up around the park.
The Botanical Gardens is a wonderful natural oasis in the city. It’s a great place for families. They have a wonderful playground and lots of kid-friendly exhibits. They also have lots of family-specific special events throughout the year which are always well organized, educational, and fun. The parking deck takes the hassle out of parking drama. And if you need to grab food, the on-site restaurants have some yummy and healthy options.
Park always seems to add new exhibits....mosaics are amazing.
