A podiatrist is a physician and surgeon who is trained specifically to prevent, diagnose, and treat disorders of the foot, ankle, and leg.Doctors of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) offer preventive care, medical, biomechanical, and surgical treatment services.We are strong advocates of preventative medicine and patient education. We stress that in addition to athletes and those with diabetes, patients of all ages should be aware of foot health.Through intensive surgical training and continuous refinements in surgical technique, we are able to offer advanced surgical care for complex deformities, conditions, and injuries of the foot, ankle, and leg.
