The buying experience is the best hands down! We have purchased 2 vehicles from Athens Ford, Jaime Negrete is the best and he has been our salesman both times and we couldn't ask for anyone better!! Service on the other hand absolutely sucks! I brought my truck in for a oil change and tire rotation they said it would take at least 3 hours, at the 2 hour 45 minute mark I asked if my truck was almost ready and I was told it would be 30 to 45 minutes longer before it would be brought to the back to start. I didn't have time for this so I took my truck and left. A few days later I brought my truck back and again 3 hours later my truck was finally done!! Most days I don't have 3 hours to spare, and what makes it worse is when I bought my truck I paid extra for the maintenance package so the oil changes are already paid for so I'm stuck waiting 3 hours per oil change!!

Car buying is right up there with having a root canal done by a barber!! BUT if you are shopping for a vehicle, Athens Ford makes it about as painless as it can get!! REALLY nice people helping you through the process...from Peter B in sales to Shannon and Christian in finance, none of that old timey slick tongue sales techniques in this dealership. Could shop closer to home, but continue to come back to Athens because of the comfort level.
