I've been here for both of my children, and I love it! The doctors are all really nice and understanding, and their response time is great. I've called in the middle of the night and still been able to promptly talk to a doctor.

Dr. Jarrett is funny and honest, Dr. Cline is precise about procedures, Dr. Murthy is the sweetest little doctor, Dr. Person is friendly and knowledgeable, and Dr. Herrin is the happiest, most caring doctor I've ever met. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a group practice that's affiliated with St. Mary's.

I used Athens OBGYN while pregnant with my son. After 3 years of trying and 2 misscarriges my PCP (Dr. Herrin Sr) told us to just keep trying. Instead of seeing if there was a problem, like we asked. Finally got pregnant and at 8 weeks started bleeding(alot) and went to ER at midnight. Found out I had not miscarried and was told to go back to OB for ultrasound. Saw Dr. Jarrett, who laughed when we told him we went to ER and said we wasted our time going there. (not the best time to laugh at me) and when I asked why I was bleeding he said," I don't know what to tell you, either it's alive or it's not." Bleed for 3 months straight going in once a week on my own accord, and a nurse who said she would see me if I needed peace of mind, to ease my worrying. Dr. Murpty found out I was coming in and getting extra ultrasounds and went back and charge us for every visit. So we got a bill outside of our regular maternity coverge. When we asked the Ultrasound tech if she could see what was causing the bleeding, she called Dr. Jarrett who says,"i don't know what you want me to tell you." So needless to say he is not my favorite person. Dr. Person's ended up delivering our son, who was healthy, thank goodness, but I have lost my respect for their practice and will not go back.
