Alps Road Elementary School serves more than 500 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and quality-approved by the Georgia Accrediting Commission. The school offers a range of student programs in art, music and physical education. Alps Road Elementary School also offers medical care and speech therapy services. In addition, it conducts various sessions in gifted and special education. The school has a parent-teacher association that conducts monthly meetings and supports a variety of school events and activities, such as fall festivals and parent retreats. Located in Athens, Ga., Alps Road Elementary School has a library and media center that organizes several book fairs.
