Provided by YP.comIf I could give negative reviews I would. The people in the offfice don't communicate at all. Resulting in my car being towed and me being charged I've 300 dollars for something I thought was taken care of when I went in there more than 5 times. Apparently the message wasent given to the manager. Not only that, we got kicked out and I asked why and they said they don't have to provide a reason. So, gonna kick me and my pregnant girlfriend onto the street for no reason? Also, after the management said to me that the place was really clean, I still didn't get back a deposit, in fact I had to owe money for "misc" 99 dollars is owed within 14 days or it goes to collections. Really? That isn't enough time.

Provided by YP.comA horrible place to live, the kids run around all over the place like its little Mexico, and the cops are always here (not just for patrol either). It takes forever for maintenance to fix something (if they ever do) and do a horrible job of it.
They started replacing windows and siding in some apartments, but of course they are the ones when you first enter the place to make prospective tenants think it looks like a nice place to live. The other buildings that haven't been remodeled are in shambles. The windows do not open and the only way to get fresh air is through little vents over the windows or by keeping your door open (not an option for upstairs tenants unless they have a fire escape door), and as a result of this the apartments can be 90+ degrees inside when its only 65 degrees outside.
When they paint the inside they just go over the old paint and you can see how thick the walls are with layers of paint. You can see the outside light through the cracks of the weather stripping around the doors, and bugs are always crawling through.
In some of the units the faucet thats in the kitchen comes out of the wall, and makes it difficult to wash dishes, let alone pots and pans. The heaters are old and some make banging noises, not pleasant when they wake you up at 4 in the morning. You can also hear the other tenants in your building, and if you live upstairs almost every step you take is heard downstairs.
And it is true that management favors the hispanics here, and will rent to them first. It's not a safe place to live as there has been at least one fire due to the heaters, and you have to watch your neighbors. Also not safe because of how hot it gets in the apartments due to the windows not opening.

Provided by YP.comI feel this is a very beautiful place to live. I have lived here for 9 1/2 yrs. The management and staff are helpful, efficient, and respectful. I feel like they are all my friends. The environment is woodsy and wonderful. I see elk, deer, coyotes and other wildlife on a daily basis. Eagles fly overhead much of the time. I walk my dog every day in a park like setting. The apartments are safe and cozy. I love all my neighbors. I recommend Emerald Heights very highly, especially to old people who value a peaceful place to live.

Provided by YP.comI've been here and I have friends living here. The manager plays favoritism. She takes advantage of the hispanics. She also threatens to evict you when she takes other persons side. Tenants there are racist also
