MindMatters Tutorial began with a teacher's love for education. An Ivy League educated and NYS multi-licensed teacher with over six years of teaching experience was disappointed with the "teaching to the worksheet" and "one size fits all" approaches that many tutorials pursue. She took it upon herself to create MindMatters Tutorial, a learning center where students and their minds matter! MindMatters Tutorial is a learning center specializing in one-on-one and small group instruction for both children and adults. With our small class sizes, highly-qualified instructors, and fun and distraction-free learning environments, we motivate students to achieve more at affordable prices! At MindMatters, we believe every student is capable of learning and offer the following programs: > Common Core Instruction (K-8th) for math, reading, writing, and phonics. > SHSAT Preparation (6th-8th) for math, reading, scrambled paragraphs, and logical reasoning. > SAT or PSAT Preparation (9th-12th) for math, critical reading, grammar, essay writing, and vocabulary. > Private Lessons (all grades) for any subject area, standardized exam, or any other academic need or assignment.
