i am writing this review because dr hertz has been my dentist for over 15 years and he will be my dentist forever. i was fooling around on superpages and i found someone who wrote a bad review who was not happy with a cleaning after going to the office for 5 years and claimed that his teeth were all screwed up from a cleaning. I just wanted to set the record straight. Dr. Hertz and Suzie the hygienist have done a great job for my family for many many years. Joey
At first it appeared to be professional, then after a 5yr. period and intermittent appts., I went for cleaning and ended up with gum infection 2x in one month. How could that happen you ask? Well on 8/14/08 was the cleaning, on 8/19/08 discovery of etched groove in six teeth at the gumline. In Jan.2009 gum infection 2x. (which is rare for one who just had a cleaning and no diagnosis of trouble). And an adamant referral to a periodontist. If you want to KEEP YOUR TEETH, I'd recommend another dentist office for sure. I was serviced by a non-american raced so-called "professional" who appears to want to fill his pockets with funds to support his lifestyle to which his has become accustomed. As a result of this "practice" my gums have inflamed twice in one month and an extraction of a tooth which is next to a "chiseled grooved tooth". Here's an observational question for ya, How could a tooth get "markings" like this? Could a person do this to themselves? Rating minus stars 5x.
