Carreiro & Carlson Mechanical Contracting Inc. (Rochester) installed a 4 zone Fujitsu Mini Split system at our house to heat and cool the interior back in July of 2019. They returned seasonally to address Freon loss over five seasons. Each time they said they found minor fitting leaks but never followed Fujitsu's steps of line/zone pressurized isolation. So for almost three years the new system never was fixed. They stopped responding to our calls in Spring 2022 and left us stuck with a system that did not fully function since day 1. In the late Summer of 2022 I hired another company "D&G" Service Co. Inc., in our town (Mattapoisett) to come out and do the proper testing to determine what was actually causing the Freon loss problems. They found the line-sets installed by Carreiro & Carlson were leaking due to pin hole corrosion (moisture between the copper line and its insulation was causing the leaks). Had the installer done their job properly and tested on the 1st, 2nd or even the 3rd time, they would have figured this out. Bottom line their ability to diagnose & service is horrible. I cannot recommend Carreiro & Carlson for any heating or cooling system work. Fixing the issue cost me more money than I paid for the original install of the whole system. * Stay Clear of this contractor folks! *

D&G Service Co. installers are certified factory trained for Mitsubishi & Fujitsu systems and they stand behind the work they do. I would Highly recommend them instead.
