Founded in 1977, Alex Color Company, Inc. is a manufacturer of aqueous pigment dispersions. Based in Ashland, Pa., the company's applications are used for use in water-based inks, coatings, art supplies, landscape mulches, as well as other applications. In addition, it manufacturers specialty products, such as landscape mulches, concrete and architectural products and fertilizers. Some of the products manufactured by Alex Color Company, Inc. include Al-flex, Al-gloss, C-series, specialty dispersions, Al-Acrylic, Al-Sperse and W-series dispersions. The main application of these products is in acrylic emulsion paints.
