As a long term client of theirs from day one t, we no longer will be able to use their services. Not sure why, but prices have doubled and tripled in the last year or more over what other vets are charging in all areas outside of Ashland.. Was charged $35 for her to just open & LOOK in my horse's mouth..Not an exam.Then would be another $75 or more per horse Got estimates on euthanizing one horse. 2-3 times as much as other vets outside of Ashland. Same with spaying of a small female dog. Sad to say this vet has outpriced themselves and I drive the same distant to go to Mansfield with my dogs now.I have vets from Wooster and Lexington with cheaper farm visit and vet charges for the horses. Prices are 2-3 times higher on most services than is the average outside of Ashland County. Who would pay such excessive fees? Lost a big account and long term, great customer over excessive charges. I am only one of at least 10 ex clients I know who use other vets outside of Ashland due to excessive costs. Ashland vets in general are overpriced, compared to region on average. Something is wrong when vets within a 40 miles radius are so much less and have great service. Will miss Dr. Lohman. We pay FAIR prices and don't use just the cheapest either. Office and equipment are average.Office staff is so-so.

Our dog was in poor health and desperately needed a vet to look at him. We called Spring Meadow and they were able to get us in. The doctors and staff at Spring Meadow were so kind and helpful, we can't thank them enough. Even though this was my first visit, they made me feel like I had been there for years. I would recommend this clinic to anyone and I'm sure you'll get the same treatment that my dog and I did.
