De Vicki is a great vet and a corgi enthusiast!

This is the most horrible veterinary office I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.My 15 year old terrier got out of our yard and was hit by a car.Her injuries were horrible, with broken hind legs and a BURST abdomen.When my family arrived, the receptionist was rude and made them wait, even though the clinic was not busy, then when they were let in the room, the vet tech brought our dog in and without a word placed her on the table with her obviously broken legs and fluids leaking out of her ruptured abdomen and walked out. My wife had to ask to see the vet who said that she hadn't even examined our dog.When we chose to put her down, they took her into the back and then brought her out in a garbage bag and box and said "have a nice day". Honestly, our dog should have been euthanized immediately, as she was suffering horribly, but apparently they wanted to perform surgery to make a few bucks and were upset when we told them they couldn't. Shame on all of them. No compassion.

My dog gets very good care, is checked thoroughly at each visit. The staff treats her with friendliness when talking and treating her. She feels at ease and sits quietly while being examined. I am very satisfied with the services received at Academy Animal Hospital.
