Good location and very reasonable membership rate. Hours of operation are somewhat limited and facility often closes unannounced or changes hours without notifying members. Not opening until 1pm on Sundays and then closing early that same day is not good especially for those who work full time. Lots of kids, which is nice for families with kids, but not great for adults. Staff is friendly, but often unaware of what's going on in the various areas.

Wonderful Staff, Strong Focus on Child Enrichment, Confident knowing my child is there after school

There are so many things I love about his place! My daughter is encouraged to get her homework done before I pick her up which allows us to just go home and enjoy each other. She absolutely loves when they get to do arts and crafts. The children get to go swimming once a week. They take mini field trips to the park or to feed the ducks at the lake. Counselors are kind, warm, smart, and energetic and love to sing, play guitar, and play fun and active games with the kids. There are several acres of woods on site where they can play hide-and-seek and explore. The kids get to let loose some of that pent up school day energy and are encouraged to play outside as much as possible. I really can't say enough good things about this place. I am so happy that my 7-year old gets to be in such a wonderful and positive place everyday, and I will continue to recommend the Beaverdam YMCA to ANYONE and EVERYONE I know!
