      Established in 1993, North Carolina MENTOR is a community-based organization that offers services for youths, children and adults with developmental disabilities. It serves Henderson and Transylvania counties in North Carolina. The organization offers outpatient therapy, community support and in-home diagnostic services. North Carolina MENTOR also provides therapeutic foster care, family preservation, reunification and wraparound solutions. The organization has a partnership with The MENTOR Network. It offers case management, respite care and rehabilitative services. The organization conducts various special education programs and organizes summer camps. It additionally serves people with brain injuries and mental illnesses. North Carolina MENTOR maintains locations in Hendersonville, Asheboro, Asheville, Biscoe and Charlotte, N.C.
