I went there a few years ago. While the office manager was perky and smiley, she tried to get me to purchase glasses from what they had that were way too small for my needs. It felt slimy. I had been examined by the male doc but the female was recommended. They allowed ("said") prescriptions could be filled elsewhere but that wasn't true. I checked with the NC Board of Opthamology w/an exec. He seemed to laugh and said they're in the business to make money. Not a good way to do business. I purchased frames elsewhere for about $100 less and had them filled there. I'm never going back. Now the woman who was recommended left and it appears to have gotten worse. My strong recommendation after wearing glasses for years is to look someplace else. Learn your prescription and just in case, ensure it can be filled elsewhere. Had posted this on a different review site but I left it w/my reviews deleted by me.

Dr. Golson and his staff were extremely accommodating and thoughtful. I experienced an accident in which my dog (100lb. yellow lab) laid his paw on my eye. This created a very large scratch on my cornea. It was a very painful and stressful experience. This happened on a Friday morning. Dr. Golson saw me immediately and continued to see me over the weekend. He saw me every day until my sight was improved and the scratch was healed. His knowledge and true concerns for my situation gave me peace of mind during such a challenging time. I truly appreciate Dr. Golson and his staff. I highly recommend Envision Eyecare!

Dr. Golson is the kindest eye doctor I have ever had. His staff and he are wonderful to be around and extremely helpful in helping solve any vision care needs.
