I took a lamp to a competitor on Dec. 6. Was told that it would take a month to get the part and do the repair. Finally on Feb 12 when the part had still not yet been ordered I took the lamp to Biltmore Lamp and Shade and Nate repaired it on the spot in about 15 minutes! Both employees were most personable. 5 stars doesn't rate my experience highly enough.

As the holiday season approaches this is a must visit. We have used their pine reed defusers in the church for the Christmas season, and people thought we used real trees. Paul and Pat take time with each customer and treat them all with respect and are glad you stopped in.

Paul is the best at rewiring, reworking, restoring your vintage lighting. If you need it fast, consider it DONE. They will call you as soon as it is ready, which is unusually very quick considering they may have to order a special part. As far as their lamp shades, Paul and Pat have a thousand, but with their skilled eyes they will happily help you find the perfect match. This is a must stop everytime we go to Asheville! Our biggest purchase were two bronze deer (from a local estate) we bought from them last year and have enjoyed the immensely!

Busy little store! Paul and Pat are great picking out really cool shades for my lamps. They also rewire and repair, and generally pretty fast too. I like browsing the antiques and the christmas decorations in season. You really have to hunt to find this kind of service today. Do ask questions, they seem to know about everything.
