The Ayurvedic Institute is one of the leading Ayurveda schools and Ayurvedic health spas in the United States. It is an educational, nonprofit organization that teaches the principles and practices of Ayurveda. The institute offers a selection of Ayurveda lifestyle products, including herbs, soaps, shampoos, moisturizers, toothpaste, tongue scrapers, balms, tea strainers, specialty tablets and body oil. It also offers necklaces of various materials used for mantra recitation, prayer, devotional practices and beneficial effects. In addition, the institute provides rental housing, student assistance and tutoring services. The Ayurvedic Institute has been operational since 1984 and is located in Albuquerque, N.M.
