I went to Alan Ramm. He was great and knowledgable. Diagnosed me and explained exactly what it was. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is because it's extremely annoying the way their appts are set up. By being very busy with work and life, staying by my phone to get a call back everytime I call there with a question or to make an appt is not my cup of tea. If that system was fixed, this would be the perfect, A+ office!

Not only most knowledgeable physician but is the most caring compassionate physician I have ever met.Never hurries wsith his patients but always gets them in with hardly any wait time. Leaves no stone unturned and makes referrals when necessary with hesitation. Truly the best family physician in Asheville .

Takes time to listen to everything you have to say! (A rare find.) He asks questions afterward and makes sure that you've verbalized everything you need to by asking "Is there anything else?" He asked me that 3 times! I appreciate a doctor that doesn't make you feel rushed. He isn't very lively, but as long as I know he's going to take time with me and be sure he understands my needs, I don't care!
