It is a division of the Randolph County Department of Emergency Services, which offers education, prevention and emergency response services in the events of fire, natural disasters and medical emergencies. The Randolph County Department of Emergency Services receives 911 calls and serves several fire departments and law enforcement agencies. The department also provides emergency medical services and operates a fleet of ambulances.
