This studio is amazing. My 3 kids have been dancing here for about 5 years. The teachers and staff are fantastic. My kids are constantly learning and growing as dancers.
My twelve year old daughter has been dancing since she was two. She has been a student at Westwoods Center of Performing Arts for five years. She takes 8 classes per week and is on the competition team. We love WCPA and our daughter can’t wait to go to dance every day. Her growth curve has been enormous as she is appropriately challenged in every class; consequently, we have seen her dance level explode. The atmosphere at WCPA amongst students, parents and staff is respectful and kind, no drama here. Studio owner Missy Morelli, from Season 8 of “ So You Think You Can Dance”, purchased the studio in 2013 and leads the studio with a talented staff of teachers and staff. The quality of instruction is very strong, Missy actually dances with the students during all classes. We have found the studio to be consistently professional and personable each and every day. If you are looking for recreational dance, WCPA has a strong program, and if you are ready to move to the competitive level, watch out, WCPA will blow you away with the talent and awards they are producing at competitions. We are proud to call WCPA our dance home.
My daughter loves her ballet/tap class with Missy. Very positive atmosphere, professional and wonderful experience for the kids.
They are very unorganized. One person will tell you one thing and then you get a different answer from another. After being in ballet for 8 months, my daughter did a 30 second dance. I will not return.
We had a horrible experience with Westwood Center of Performing Arts in Arvada. They gave the impression that they DO NOT care about their clients. We were there for one full season and it was an unpleasant experience. The teacher was great but the administration was poor. The front desk hardly said hi to us the whole season, they encouraged you to buy a practice tape that was overpriced, we ordered a recital dress that came too small and it was a huge effort to get them to even work with us. Our overall impression is that they just want your money. Many of the staff we encountered seemed to have an elitist attitude. I would recommend the staff take a customer service class. We would not recommend them to anyone!
The owner of this dance studio is only concerned about the tiny dancers, and is unresponsive to other dancers. The lack of cleanliness and concern for safety of the dancers is terrible. I would not recommend this studio
