Since its establishment in 1984, Wanco has been a leader in the manufacturing of highway safety and traffic control products. The products, while manufactured with unique features and characteristics, share a common background with respect to parts, programming and operational features. Wanco takes pride in saying that it is an engineering-based company. The in-house fabrication department is equipped with some of the latest technologies in welding and material handling equipment. The onsite electronics laboratory is staffed with skilled technicians that assemble and test all electronics before going to the assembly line. Wanco s assembly department has ample space to divide production by product type. Products include message directors, traffic directors, speed directors, Fold-N-Go signs, caution beacons, airport runway closure signs, portable lighting, portable surveillance and traffic data collectors. Wanco is located in Arvada, Colo.
